Well, we have a replacement machine and hopefully we will have in in place in the next few days.

Yesterday wasn't a very good day in the world of computing. Two of the computers for the radio station were on the table and not cooperating, my personal computer is all of a sudden freezing up (I think it is over heating), the chat room server goes down, and the internal network is acting quite whacky.

Oh well, all in a day's confusion.

Ok, to close this out, the trouble that everybody has been having for the last 3 weeks was in fact the chat server. When we found this problem the chat server then died, but the rest of our network started running at a better speed.

I sure hope things will get back to normal in the chat room , it,s the only place I have found to meet other eunuchs . I feel so alone out here with out it.

Doe's anybody know when it's planned to get the server for the chat room in service again? Do you need further donations? I'm missing all people I loved to chatted with. Hopefully the problem will be solved soon.

Yes, we very much could use more donations!

As to when the chat server will be back online, that depends on the incoming donations but I am hoping next weekend. It takes a couple of days to get a machine built (thus preserving a warrenty) and a day or two to re-install all the software.

I very, very much want to thank each and every one of you that have donated or intend to. I'll let everyone know when we have got enough.

We all love this board and the chat room. Nobody of us is aware which daily work has to be done to keep such a board running. We use this board and the chat room for our personal interest or even our personal fun, but we forget all the operators, and the technicians behind to maintain such a system. And our beloved Bboy is missed so much!

I promised Talula to send a donation from Europe, and I hope this will encourage other participants to follow. Let us show our interest for this board, to save the survival of our great community! There is no better one in this world on this special field!
