my sympathy and condolences

I am very sorry to hear this news. I had just got done posting right before I heard the news. I asked the Lord to help Bboy...Well I guess he did. He took him to a better place... and out of his pain and misery. Again, I send my condolences to his family and friends.

I am also very saddened by this news. I only spoke with him once or twice on the chatroom, I know that he will be missed here and in everyones life, but he is truly in a better place where there is no pain or suffering the place that we will all go one day.

I just found this thread.

I am so sorry that this happened. We are told that things always happen for a reason. I don't know.

This is hard to accept and it is times like this that make us cherish our friends and loved ones.

I share in the feelings of loss and although I have never personally met anybody from the archive I wish that I had.

Remember to hug somebody that you love and remember to tell them that you love them because you never know what is going to happen next.

it is never for the best. i don't know how many times i have to hear that but it never is. the rest of us have to go on but a bit of ourselves will never be the same again. Thank you for the memories. you will surely be missed.

My first footsteps in Minnesota occurred on September 27, 1996, coming to the Twin Cities directly from Memphis, Tennessee. I do not hail from the good State of Tennessee, I come from the O.C., Southern California. Some call it the Orange Curtain, I call it Orange County. My home was actually in Boise, Idaho at that time but I now live in Minnesota.

It didn’t take long after landing in the Frozen North for me to find the E. A. on the Internet. Bboy was running the show from his personal Netcom account and loved every minute of his activity, and I did too. I tried for a couple of years to make contact before I was able to break through and actually talk with ‘B’. Of course, we wrote notes back and forth in those days, but I'll bet I wrote 10 to 1 of those notes. It wasn’t until I made a trip to talula’s home, by invitation from Krister, did I actually meet Bboy. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet and chat with 'B' during this short period of time. He was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. You too Krister, tal, Paolo, et al...

My contributions to the E.A. perhaps cover a pinpoint compared to the vast giving of ‘B’. My life has not been the same since my discovery of the Archive and Bboy has managed to introduce me to several good men I call friends; talula, Paolo, Krister, Gemm, Uncle Flo, Riverwind, and Luvpain. I have many fond memories of posts from all here on the Archive. We have been provided the opportunity of a lifetime on this site and we owe a debt of gratitude to 'B'.

From the heart of 'B' and his good friend talula along with others like Paolo, Krister, Luvpain, Riverwind, Uncle Flo and Gemm this site will live in the memory of 'B'.

This post makes me sad to say good-bye to ‘B’.

May Bboy rest in peace… you are in a better place now.

I never got a chance to get to know you very well Bboy, a great shame. I raise me glass to you non the less in remembrance (-you always treated me with respect-) and honor of who I think you were in life and who you are wherever you may be now.

Riverwind, thanks for eulogizing him here and thanks to you, Talula and others who made it to see him in person.

Can we make some sort of memorial page on the Archive? Wasn't he big on the story archive -- could we name it "BBoy Memorial Story Archive" or something?

I've been hanging around the Archive, off and on (but mostly off) for over 4 years. I never interacted very directly with Bryan/Bboy, but he always seemed like a real sweet guy, and definitely a very generous one.

Would it be improper to ask how old he was? And what the cause of his illness was? Just curious.

Anyway, I hope the rest of us can carry on in the same positive and generous spirit that Bboy started this website with.
