The only time that the shot even gave me some discomfort was about 20 minutes after I got my shot when I was standing at the fridge doing the guy thing (door open, mindless gaze) & our St. Bernard walks up behind me all excited thinking she was getting a treat wagging that 10 pound tale & smacked me in the but right where I'd got the shot about three times. Then I knew that I'd got a shot!

Oh yea, broke that mindless gaze too!

Being a big guy (350 lb. range) I was wondering if just one shot would do much. After two weeks, I could tell a difference, but not as much as I would of liked so I took a second depo shot. Wow! What a difference! Now we're getting somewhere!

OK, Depo-Provera takes anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks to take effect after the first shot. Something else: The "pros" say that one needs anywhere from 300mgs. to 600mgs. per week to thoroughly kill libido. I have noticed, after over 2 years of 150mgs. every 4 weeks that now my libido is finally gone, ramping down over that period. I no longer have any erectile function unless, perhaps, I scratch my groin. But it does not last at all, and never gets hard enough for penetration.

I believe that the high-dose regimin is a "quicky" way of obtaining the same results. Anyone who cannot wait that long might wish to try that, at least until one obtains the desired results, then taper back to 150mgs. per 4 weeks.

I think I'll stick to my Premarin supplement of 1.25 mg twice a day which equals about $0.75 per day or less depending on the quantity you order. Any comments here? I think that should do it.

I think Premarin plus 150 mgs of Depo-Provera every other week should do the trick completely in short order.
