I think the Archive higher-ups are working on a way to get some help to Mac to keep him online ... I don't have anything definite ... just that my offer to contribute to such an effort still goes.

Wolfie, I read that and tears came to my eyes. I was so damn depressed this evening. The most special part that I read was, the part where you were saying who all you respected and loved. When I seen "Lilac" there, thats when the tears flowed. I am honored to be known as one of your friends. I am sure gonna miss you. I know you will be back soon. When I went into the chatroom tonight, I was there for a bit and then you came in. I was so surprised. It really cheered me up this evening. :) I appreciate you looking after me like Christina does. And thanks for the vote for me as an OP. Well, good luck at the Casino's as I told you tonight. I'll miss you while your absent. And I will be thinking of you. P.S. you never ask me to (cyber) with you.;) take care.

your sweet, Lilac

Great Idea,

Dear MacWolfie,

please send me your bankdetails via my email address.

I have justed checked it out and I can send money via my onlinebanking to the states, all I need is your IBAN(international bank account number) or at least your banks swift no. and your account no.

€ 20,- from here, not the world but I hope it will help.

Kisses,

Antonia xxx

p.s.: if you wait another month the exchange rate € to $ may just dubble(just joking) last I heard it is going back down, so hurry up luv.

Hi Mac,

I'm glad you are still with us. You are one of the people that make this a special place.

Mac, I'm very glad I caught to speak with you in the last few days.

I found out one interesting thing which sadly I don't think will help you but will help people in the UK, or at least in my county!

The local public library service has free internet access - your id is your library card number and they will give you a password, which you can change.

There is no A floppy drive and you have to pay to have items printed but if you want to check your Yahoo, Lycos, Hotmail account etc then it is perfect.

A screen comes on which specifically excludes users accessing the neat Dell machines for sexual, pornographic or violent or racial sites.

Other than that one restriction, it is possible to run a free PC account on broadband at no cost and you don't even need a PC. I mention it because for some people this will be very useful (you may need to book in online time).

It won't mean access to the Archive I doubt, but it will open up most of cyberspace and give you access to your e-mail accounts - all for no cost... not bad I say!
