Thanks IEunuch for recommending this author and this series. I enjoy SF and next time I compile a book order I will add this series to it. As you say when a mainstream book chooses to add some castration sparkle and the author has given time and thought into the inclusion, within the story plan, then it's good to see it given prominence here and from the small amount you wrote of these two worlds, it looks like this will be a great read.
