For me chemical castration was a necessity. I had not thought about castration until I was put on anti-androgen drugs, together with a course of radiotherapy, for prostate cancer in January 2002. The drugs reduced my testosterone level to within the castrate range. I was a chemical eunuch for a year. I liked the way that I felt as a chemical eunuch and decided to make it permanent by surgical castration. I lost my balls on September 22, just seven weeks ago.

So far most of you have said what i felt and that castration was a necessity for them. Now the reasion i posted this is because i was chastised in an other artical that i subscribed to.I didnt like the way the story was reported as the reporter had said the castration was a fetish. Now maby it was for i wasent thair but this is not good pr for the eunuch comunity .We need doctors to help us not to look at us as if we are doing this just for fitish play.

I have seen here that most of you infact have done this or are going to be castrated because of your necessity. So now i kind of feel vindicated for my remarkes but if anyone would like to coment on my remarks feel free to enlighten me for i want to know how you feel about this

Terry i hope everything is going ok for you but you have come to a place were thair are many who are thair for you if you need them

Hello.

I'm very surprised that no one has really copped to the fetish aspects of this topic. Given the usage patterns of the forums, I'm sure there must be many people for whom it is a fetish or fantasy. I'll admit that those are the two aspects that attracted me to the archive in the first place. (I'm kind of scared at the rapid changes in thinking that I am experiencing, though.)

But i also know thair are many here who vuew this as a fetish from the other posts that i have read here recently. And thay have strong fellings about this subject .

So my question is how do you feel about this is castration a fetish for you or a necessity

Well to be completely honest, it was a mixture of fetish and necessity mainly in the beginning. I was confused about it for a long time until I briefly tried chemical castration. After that I realized that it was more than a fetish when my libido went away and I mind cleared up. As soon as that happened I knew that castration was the right thing for me as a person. It felt great to be in complete control of my body and mind and free from sexual desires. My "T" level are back to normal right now, but they won't be that way for much longer.

I was on the anti-androgen drug (Zoladex LA as an implant every 12 weeks) for a year. After I had completed the course of treatment and my "T" level slowly started to rise again, I decided that I liked the way that I felt as a "chemical" eunuch. I wanted to make that feeling permanent. As I have posted previously to the EA, I had my balls removed in a private hospital in England on September 22.

My surgical castration is now nearly 3 months ago and I am still happy to sign myself as:

Terry I'm sorry you had to go through all that misery due to prostate cancer. Hopefully you'll remain cancer free from here on out. Did your experience with prostate cancer influence your decisiion to get rid of your testicles or was it just a product of self discovery that you decided on after you were chemically castrated? As for me, just thinking about cancer and the fear of getting it is a good reason to get them removed. Personally, I'll be glad when their gone so such a horrible ordeal wouldn't be possible. If all goes well I'll be going the chemical route very soon, and I can't wait!

I was very fortunate. A routine medical check showed a raised blood PSA. Tissue biopsies from my prostate gland showed cancer cells but these were dealt with effectively by radiotherapy combined with anti-androgen drugs.

I had the opportunity of a trial run as a chemical castrate. It is now three months since I lost my balls. I can say categorically that I feel great now that I am a eunuch for good.
