If you read the fine print in MOST of those statutes, they look at age difference. In other words, if you are 16 and have consentual sex with a 14 year old, it is not usually an issue. But and 18 year old and a 13 year old? well, read on...

When the underage "victim" is a male, things can get really tricky. Most 14-year old boys would jump at a chance to have sex with an older woman.

Try looking up the history of the commune at Harmony, Indiana (later New Harmony) and the sexual practices of the Rappites.
