Two other people have been promoting my research over the years: Izzy Siev [Publisher of Crucial Concepts] and Dr. Allan Peterson of USCCN has made spiral bound books of some of my research, I believe. As for what they are charging, I am uncertain. The only bound book that I've published is The History of Castration, which I sell for $15 a copy. What I am announing here is that I am having my second book, Castration: Advantages and Disadvatages edited and published by 1stBooks.com. We still haven't established its cost.

What I was referring to were two books published by "The USCCCN II/The American Focus Publishing Company". They cost $35 each back in the year 2001.

The author is listed as "Victor T. Cheney", modestly billed as "America's Foremost Authority on Castration".

The table of contents of these two seperate books was identical to the one you proposed for the new book.

So is the "new" book simply a reprint of the two old books, bound together, or has new material been incorporated?

No, I do not have a Doctors degree, just a Bachlors Degree from University of West Florida and a Masters from Troy State Univeristy.

My son, Michael, who does most of my internet research [here and otherwise, I never got the hang of using computers and such] often uses the by name of Dok. He is kinda short and has a beard like one of the seven dwarfs. No confusion intended.

Sorry for taking so long to respond to your inquiry.

Well, yes and no. The “new” book is the completed, updated [so there is a lot of new material], revised, edited, and indexed version of what USCCCN II has been putting out, without all the filler sections in the back.

To elaborate, there has been an explosion of information about Eunuchs, castration, the effects of testosterone and other hormones, and such in the last few years. Twenty Five years ago I went major University Libraries all over the country searching for information about Eunuchs and Castration. The librarians would always look at me as though I was nuts. And very often nothing would turn up in our search of the card catalog and the Periodical Guides. You remember those? The Internet has changed all of that. Now my son, Michael, is constantly bringing me new scientific journal articles, news items, legislative action, new books, and emails from websites. All dealing directly with castration. This is fantastic. Before, I had a hard time finding anything, now I am getting a little overwhelmed by all of the new data. Some of it has strengthened my previous views and other things have caused me to reevaluate or modify my position. I do have a belief that Castration is a valuable therapy especially for repeat sex offenders. [By the way my third and last book is going to be called The Cure: An Analysis of Therapies for Sex Offenders. There are a myriad of current therapies for repeat sex offenders none effective accept one. I am sure you can guess what the only truly effect Cure is 98% of the time.] However, I am committed to the truth. If new data or research comes to light then of course my views have to conform.

Hehe,…Humm, well Dr. Peterson, said that not me, and he may be a little too free with his praise of my research and me. I think he is saying that he knows of no one else who has devoted the last 25 yeas of his life, since the Ted Bundy murders at Florida State in January of 1978, where I was working on a PHD. in Criminology [see New Thread: Preface to Castration: Advantages and Disadvantages]. Perhaps there are others out there that have studied this subject more than I have, maybe they are part of this website. I certainly would love to correspond with them and share notes.

Lastly, Andrew, I have had time to search though this site a little and want to thank you for the recognition that you have given my work even though you may not have agreed with all of my conclusions. It is very heartening to see any support. I was hoping that here among other eunuchs I would have been received a little more warmly, but thats life.

I'm curious, have you ever reseached the effects of penectomy and not just castration for sex offenders?

Dear Happousai,

Most of my research has been dealing with the orchiectomy. Historically I know that the penectomy, the cutting off of the penis, has been done along with orchiectomy, the cutting off of the testicles, in the castration surgery for thousands of years. This has caused castration to have a very bad reputation because penectomy was a much more dangerous surgery for men and boys than the simple orchiectomy. Most of the deaths and other side effects attributed to castration were actually the result of the penectomy because of several factors. The arteries to the penis are larger and more difficult therefore to stop bleeding than those in the testicles. Also, the flesh growing over the urethra in the healing process, caused retention of urine, and frequently blocked the urethra altogether causing death. Sometimes the inability to control urination and spilling of urine caused soiling of clothing and resulted in many eunuchs having terrible odors. Infections also were more likely in penectomy than orchietomy because of the larger area exposed to more infectious agents. The penectomy was more painful than the orchiectomy because of the greater number of sensitive nerve endings in the penile skin than the scrotal skin.

In my opinion castration by penectomy is not necessary. Orchiectomy alone produces the same physiological results from the loss of androgens produced by the testicles. As for the benefits of castration, I belive there are many including increased life expectancy and a cure for prostrate cancer.
