I have no idea about translations of Essential Surgical Technique.

Most articles on the medical condition "testicular torsion" say that it takes 12 hours of blocked blood supply to kill the testicles. I've seen graphs before that chart the chance of "unsalvageable" testicles based on time that blood flow is restricted.

Since it is very hard to band them yourself for that long, I suggest you have someone tie you up and supervise you until the 12 hours is up.

Well, I've had a couple of fairly long sessions (balls that is) and it's definitely affected me: I'm certainly not the man I was -- I can't really get hard and my genitals have definitely shrunk. I've also experienced a definite loss of muscle tone. (I love to stroke my flabby "eunuch body" and remember how it got that way!)

Recently I discovered the pleasure of dick-banding. The numbness wears off after a while, but there's definitely been a permanent loss of sensation.

A few years ago I was definitely a "man"; now I can't perform and it gives me no pleasure -- I still have a dick and balls but in many ways I'm sexless!!
