So how much has all this cost you in money, time, pain & suffering? Well, I used my head, was castrated by Dr. Spector, had the scrotum removed later by Dr. Kimmel, and even with airfare and hotel bills thrown in, the cost probably came to much less then what I would have had to pay for all the emergenncy room visits and other treatments you have undergone.

As for pain and suffering, I had a few pains pills for a couple of days after my castration, and Aleve thereafter. Very little suffering, and returned to work without much trouble. Yes, you have to spend a lot of money up front for the services of Spector/Kimmel, but in the long run this is the cheapest and easiest way to go. (My Opinion Only, of course.)

For some of us wisdom comes at a higher price than for others. It has cost me enough! I am just agreeing with you have said all along and the advise you gave me, even though I didin't listen to all of it.So thats where I am at for now. Scottie

Them sorry thing of it is, If I would have not used the chem- cast then the testies would have come right out and not needed to be scraped from the sides of the scrotal wall. so in a way I caused all of these complications.

It sounds like it might be easier if they just amputate your scrotum. I'm curious - have they talked about doing that?

Never really thought about it. Inn the beginning My Mistress wanted me to keep it. Maybe it is an option now. Great question and idea!Scottie

after his operation for an enlarged prostate. The infection was painful and serious. He lost the testicle. His surgeon had skipped on purpose some final step in the operation. My father became the one in whatever who had a problem because the doctor skipped that part of the procedure.

As usual, however, Andrew offers wise advice. Let the doctor do what he knows how to do.

Glad you're getting over the (nasty sounding) infection you picked up. There are some really virulent critters out there that require IV antibiotics, and more, to get rid of.

The guys who keep harping on "medical professional, clean setting" are not just blowing smoke.

Do what the doc tells ya!!!
