The main reason I started on the medication was to eliminate my sex drive and hopefully cause my testicles and penis to become as small as possible. Feminization was not a goal. If I can achieve the aforementioned changes without the estrofem, I will.
So far I have noticed a slight developement in my nipples and my scrotum seems to be drawn up much more that I can recall.
Mentally...I am much more at peace than I have been in many years and I have zero interest in sex. Erections are far and few between and to achieve an orgasm through masturbation has become a major effort. I hopefully assume that I am moving towards the goal I am seeking.
Thanks for your response and for the information medium.

Now of the other side, I am more emotional, I tend to cry at odd times. Hot flashes and night sweats, I think the last one was in May.
Sounds like early pregnancy. :tongueout

I have been having trouble with my lower back for several years, its getting worse. In September 2002 I went to Philly and was castrated with scrotal reduction. I stopped taking Androcur about a week later. My doctor checked my blood again and had me have a bone scan. Testosterone level is less then 20 or to little to measure. Bone scan - I have Osteoporosis, I now take a pill once a week in the morning on an empty stomach with 12 or more oz of water. I must stay up or sit for an hour then I can take the rest of the several groups of meds I take. The drug is called Fosamax. You get 4 pills a month, I have refills through the end of 2003.
That is what my grandmother has and what she takes for it.

Moreschi, I find it quite common chatting with EA members that a lot of us have low spine injuries. These injuries are often treated with anti-nflammataries and anti-depressants and cortosone and
surgery and these either help reduce pain, or not.
What appears quite common though from observation here
(I speak as a patient only) is that many of us found out we
became impotent. I always had a hyper low libido but even
I woke up one day and realised climaxing was impossible!
Initially I was offered a trial pack of Viagra which happily
didn't result in any virilty and it was then my mind realised exactly
what my body was telling me and that was that my body wanted and desired an end to all signs of sexual feeling.
It was a revelation to finally "tune my mind and body together"
and the logic and my position enabled me to get good supportive
help from my Urologist and Dr.
Becoming alert to issues of Asexuality and aware then of this site
followed on. I am still on the anti pain cocktails but also androcur.
I have also found interesting the website.
www.asexuality.org
which covers much of the ground that we do here without
covering castration; although chemical control is discussed.
Short&Shaved, thanks for starting this thread. I hope you
are each day discovering a little more peace and tranquility.

Sac mec,
Please check your private mail box. Delivery of PM not possible due to full mail box.
My progress has been slow of late. A little nipple development but no noticeable breast development. I have been on 50mg androcur, 100 mg Spiro and 2mg Estrofem for 40 days. Will run out of androcur in 10 more days and will change to 150 mg of Spiro daily along with 2 mg Estrofem.
The mental changes are taking place. I have very few thoughts of sex any more. Physically, I have not had an erections in over 3 weeks ... not even a little. I am satisfied with my progress and I believe the desired results will gradually take place with patience.
From what I have read, if not already, I should soon be sterile. It should be a while before testosterone production shuts down.
Hopefully the combined affects of Estrofem with the antiandrogen should speed up just a little, the shrinking of the testes, atrophy of my prostate, and eventualy the shrinking of my penis.

I have been taking herbal estrogens for one year and I am changing slowly. I get my herbs off the internet from Phoenix Project (webpage my evanesce.com).
My goal was to decrease my libido tozero. I am 62 yrs old and had a raging libido. I was into pornography and lust big time for my pubescent grandaughter.
One year later my libido is gone. No pornography in a year. And I just watch my granddaughter develop. she must have atleast C cup breasts. She is really beautiful and I can enjoy watching her develop with no sexual aousal.
Speaking of arousal, I am totally impotent. My penis has shrunk to less than half the original size and is always limp. It could never stand up in a vagina again;)
Side effects are fun. I have two teenager type boobs 44-B. At that band size a B cup is little more than a hand full. Still fun to play with. My butt is big rounded and soft like a woman's. I have fun checking out butts and comparing mine with theirs
The progress is slow but I really just wanted to and I now am FREE from sexual addiction. Anyone else on herbs here?
Steve

Hi ! I`m new here and thought I`d post what I`m doing too. I take Spiro.; Estrofem; Progesterone and Premarin. I have been on this combo. for 2 months and what a wonderfull change for me! I am completely happy now as a M2F. I am developing nice breasts and my body fat is being distributed in all the right places. I feel so feminine and womanly at last! I weigh about 140 lbs and dress ala` femme. 24/7. I will be looking forward to Facial Feminization Cosmetic Surgeries this summer and soon after that, SRS in Thailand. I can`t wait to get rid of that thing down there and the sooner the better. Please stay in touch...as I will too. My e-address and ICQ shopuld appear with this message, so don`t be shy! Keep doing what you know is right for you and you will be better for it! Hugs, Andrea

Wow, Andrea, what a beautiful weight.
It reminds me of long ago, when I was younger and thin. It's funny because at that time I was not taking hormones at all and I dreamed of what it was like to be Female and compared my weight to the Women's standard rather than to men.
I also exercised via workouts depicted in Women's fitness magazines, etc. I totally identified with Women.
