The penis is also useful for standing up to pee. (I myself rarely make use of it this way; I generally prefer to sit because it's more relaxing, and I rarely travel so I don't really run into dirty bathrooms.)

Some might consider it to be useful but it is not essential to that function. Over half of the world's people never had one and they manage to pee quite well. Personally I find sitting more comfortable and convenient, even in public restrooms. Thus it will not be a problem for me if I can manage to achieve my goal of becomming nullo.
