The breast reduction surgery that you all allude to is really quite common. It is called Reduction Mammoplasty and it is used typically to help women whose breasts are so large that they pose a handicapping condition.
Such women have constant backaches, they cannot stand for long periods of time because their breasts cause them fatigue and they can never find clothes to fit them properly. Thes surgeries reduce the size of the breast without removing it. Go to sleep 44DDD...wake up 36 B or C, depending on body type.
But I know of no mastectomies for preventative purposes except in women that have a strong genetic marker and a strong family history of breast cancer. That, children, is a gut-rending decision for a woman to have to make.
Some have reconstruction done with implants and some do not. Some even opt for a smooth chest wall and then get a huge tattoo where their breast was, but mostly the cancer victims. That is different. It is a reclamation and acceptance of their body.
But the situations that I speak of actually happen and are documented in medical literature.
Paolo is right. I cannot speak for the rest of you but this subject is not way erotic for me in any manner.
So, Paolo, when you flush these stories let me know if you need any help pulling the chain...WHOOSH!!! ... WHEEEEEEE!
