I have been working on trying to do this intermittently, along w/ a brief summary of each one, for my own interest but it hasn't been a very high priority project for me... It is definitely a challenge as it takes a lot of detective work to examine each story for clues as to when it happens, and merge those in with the clues from other stories...

I'm certainly not criticizing, as the writing is excellent, but CvanD also frequently has a lot of reminiscing about past events, flashbacks, and so forth... Nothing wrong with that, but it complicates trying to date things... It raises the question of should the story go in the sequence at the time it is remembered or at the time it happened? Also what about stories with significant parts happening at different times?

It is worth noting that CvanD had not been visibly present on EA for quite a while when I started this, so I felt OK about writing something that referenced his 'universe', but now that he is back submitting stories I'd rather have his blessing before I made anything public... (Perhaps we can talk him into sharing his own official version of the timeline?)

Pretty sure he doesn't have one.

I had once been working on a compendium for the Simon Universe, but it somehow got lost in the transition. The one posted here in the big reformat years ago wasn't supposed to be. I know it leaves a lot out, as it's old.

The original story publishing dates should be logged in each of the stories, but, one would have to click on the story to find that date.

For instance:

Simon Learns To Do Oral [S]

Submission Date: 2002-09-01 By: Maxwell G Riche (Major)

[Minor] [Straight] [Testicles] - Fiction

12-year old Simon gets his balls pricked, to make him better behaved. But 13-year old Wendy shows him there are other ways of pleasing a girl.

Given the various editors over the years, the author's name has been "CvanD" and "C van D" with spaces, as well as Maxwell G Riche

I had started w/ your compendium, but as you noted it was old, and also didn't connect back to the stories so I'd been trying to match up stories w/ compendium events, which hasn't always worked well.

At least as far as I've gotten, I haven't noticed any significant 'continuity errors' so if he doesn't have a written timeline I'm SERIOUSLY impressed... However it does seem the publication date is not a real useful guide as it seems the stories were not submitted in any particular order, or perhaps he wrote some in an initial widely spaced sequence, and then went back and put in more adventures in the gaps...

Thanks for the info about also having the name Maxwell G Riche (Major) as an author name, as I didn't know about that one - I think I had found all the CvanD variants, but didn't know there were other author names...

Difficult as it may be, you can see the dates of submission at the top of each story. I'd start there. The submissions I found are from 2003 on up through 2024. You can search by authors CvanD and Paolo. Sometimes the names are together as a single-source author.

I've been honored to have been asked to assist with, and been allowed to "play" in the author's universe from time to time!

On those occasions where we collaborated, I would hammer out what I imagined, and then CvanD would clean it up and give it his special touch!
