If you truly wish to achieve your goal, you may need to reexamine the best way to go about it. My gut feeling is what you're pursuing is implausible at best, and likely to be rejected by the medical community.

It is worth remembering the hormones that are produced in the body by the adrenal glands, in particular androgens.

Even in the absence of regular TRT, problems with the condition of bones and joints can be avoided.

By the way, many, if necessary, take medications containing estrogens.

many reasons, not gonna go very much in detail but basically:

-I'm relatively soon moving to a country where it will not be easy to access TRT

-The job I want there requires to have "No chronic diseases" so having to rely on TRT might be problematic

-I'm 99% sure healthcare won't cover TRT there

If what I want is impossible then I'll settle for the second option which would be to just get a penectomy and reroute

I started Spironolactone 5 months ago. Started on just 50mg a day and have increased to 200mg a day. The gradual increase seems to have avoided some of the issues I had just starting on 200mg before. I have had the occasional hot flash and I often feel very tired early evening. My T has dropped from just over 1000 to just over 300 when tested last month. I was told to expect my testicles to shrink to between 25% and 50%, they have shrunk but not even by 25% yet. The idea of having one testicle tucked up inside, producing " just enough T" sounds perfect!

You will tire out on low T. I know from experience. If you are castrated and take a low dose of testosterone, your energy will return but your libido will still be low, from my experience.

the MTC probably can do this,you should ask them,i would do the same surgery in there

i think it's a good choice if yiu don't wanna rely on trt

from what I understand, the testicular shrinking caused from atrophy is permanent, so stopping to take anti-androgens later shouldn't be problematic

I have used Androcur and Tamoxifin to chemically castrate myself, together with significantly and permanently shrinking my penis and testicles. (Search my past ID here hkeunuch for posts describing my journey.) I stopped that castration regiment since 2009.

The testicles are so small that unless I am standing, they do not drop down into the scrotum. I would have loved to remove the scrotum and just tuck the testicles inside had I been less squeamish about going under the knife and if I could avoid big ugly and uncomfortably sensitive scars even from much smaller surgeries in the past.

Yes, the genital atrophy is permanent. If anything, it continues even well after stopping anti-androgen.

I too have the same experience. After my chemical castration in 2009 and going without any hormonal replacement for 10 years. However, I developed osteopenia, low energy, lots of fatigue and beginning of depression. By 2019, I had to be put on a low dose T.

My libido went from basic zero to a low level, manageable but I wouldn't mind not having it.
