Haven’t been on in awhile but I did have a consult with my urologist on 12/6 and have two letters, so all is a go. My insurance is changing after the 1st so I will move forward and have insurance approved and then schedule the date and have them removed. Still need to figured out how much of the scrotum I want removed in case I decide on further surgery, such as vulvoplasty.
Sounds good, hope the new insurance doesn't cause you any extra headaches... I don't know what to suggest on other surgeries, except that I thought most of them involved relocating the urethra, which we know is not a great thing if in a chair and needing to cath...

I updated my new insurance info to the surgery center and got confirmation that they have it and will submit letters for approval 1/2/24 when the insurance starts. Sadly it could take two months but I’m hoping sooner so I can get scheduled for Orchiectomy and scrotum removal at the same time, sounds like they will leave enough in case I chose vulvoplasty if not I’ll want the remaining skin removed so its flat. Can’t believe this is happing but very glad it is.

I don't know how your surgeon will do things, but mine didn't leave enough scrotum to do much of anything else with it... (they might get some of what they need by skinning the penis, but I'm not sure that would be enough... I'd suggest having a very detailed conversation with your surgeon about whether or not you will want vulvoplasty and if so, how much scrotum he needs to leave... Remember that they can't glue it back on...
My personal recommendation as a wheeler is that you really want to keep as much of the male pissing configuration as possible, as female configuration is much harder to deal with....
Glad to hear you are getting the insurance stuff worked out. It might be worth talking to your surgeon about scheduling a tentative date now, so you can get done as soon as the insurance clears it. (and having a pending date might get the insurance people to move faster...)

I had my bilateral orchiectomy in April…the swelling wasnt too bad but lots of black and blue. Was able to masterbate like a guy two weeks later thanks to TRT. Since went to a low dose of E and have some breast growth but not bad. Had my scrotum reduction 4 weeks ago with minimal swelling and now almost all healed with only some touch pain near the bottom of the stitch line. Very very happy with the smoothness j see the actual penis. Male masterbation is definitely a thing of the past. Very happy with the eunuch calm. Live in Florida and the excess skin was very uncomfortable and I was always aware it was there. I didn’t have the option of getting it down at the time of the initial castration. Would highly recommend scrotum reduction.

I had an appt. Yesterday with my gender doctor, all went well. We talk about the up and coming surgery, future further surgery options and post HRT. She did a breast exam and general health questions. I do need to get a MRI breast screening done this spring. She wants me to schedule a follow up appt. After surgery. She did do some blood work. All was good, hormones levels are T 284 E124 and P 2.0 the T is high as I don’t take the HRT full time, I tend to cycle on and off as I do not want large breasts, my body responses a lot when on HRT and it seam to be cumulative. No issue with moods or anything. I also have appt. With my therapist today, looking forward to that and the day this is done.
