I don't understand why a human writer should put some artificial writer between himself and a human reader?

It's very stop, go, stop, go, with a low amount of natural flow as you would have in a spoken conversation. Shorter posts on message forums I feel comfortable with, long stories I do not. So the AI is helpful for me in that I can give it my ideas and have it write them in such a way it flows better for a reader.
When I circle back around to Life as it should be, I will be using the AI to transform my ideas into text which is more readable and flows better. I feel the first 2 chapters of that story would work better had I done them with assistance. I look at it a bit in this situation like having a ghost writer for an autobiography. The reason people do that is because they suck at writing. If they could do it, they would.
