To the 3-4 people who have been reading the Metamorphosis series, I've just submitted Chapters 2 and 3 of Metamorphosis: Origins, and Paolo will upload them when he gets to them.

However, I'm writing to inform you that Chapter 2 is rather sensitive and is not a happy-go-lucky sort of chapter, nor does it have any sort of "Main event" related to the genre of fiction found here on the story archive. It's downright depressing, if I'm honest, but is integral to the overall story. Chapter 3 will begin to perk up a bit from Chapter 2, but I wanted to give this warning so you'll know after these two chapters, things will pick up a bit and progress more normally. Consider these 2 chapters character building, and slog through them if you can.

I'll just say if you have any emotions, if you don't at least feel tears welling up in the middle of chapter 2, I'd have to question if you're a robot of some kind.
