Congratulations hope your recovery will be fast and without complications, and you’ll enjoy your new status.

I had my bilateral orchiectomy in late March, but was troubled with complications afterwards. However I now enjoy my Nutless state.

Congrats! I know the euphoria. 44 is a good age to get this done. Getting one”s scrotum removed might be more difficult.

Thank you so much for all the messages and advice it is so much appreciated and it is such a nice and friendly group here if it wasn’t for this forum I wouldn’t be anywhere close to my goal.

To be castrated in a hospital has meant it was done in a safe and sterile way, unfortunately I was asleep for the procedure so I didn’t experience the act first hand but that is a small price to pay.

I am now a very proud Eunuch with an empty scrotum, which is still very swollen and bruised.

Every day is getting easier and less painful now I seem at the moment it is just my inguinal areas where the cord stumps are situated that hurt and are sore when I move around at the moment. But I hope I time this will stop causing pain.

Losethem already covered this, but the scrotum will tighten up over time. Took mine about a month. Now, as contrast to Losethem, I had tiny balls (literally hypogonadism), so when the weather is cold-to-temperate it's perfectly flat and smooth-looking (still has that scrotal "wavyness" to the touch, but visually there's nothing to see). When it gets hot, and I'm talking 85+ degrees, it does loosen up, but doesn't hang as low as before I was gelded.

I should note that my urologist counseled against removing the scrotum because that region of the body moves around so much that you want some stretch, but maybe you can at least get it trimmed down?

Congrats! 56 days since castration / scrotum removal. Everyone is different, but hopeful your recovery goes well and you love the outcome! For encouragement, I am pretty much fully recovered. Doing things I normally did pre castration. No ill effects other than some warm flashes occasionally in the evening.
