Yesterday was my first dose and I'm officially off the testosterone. I'm still have trouble sleeping and I feel tired either way since I dropped my T dose by 60 percent in a week. Now I'm going to near zero and I'm replacing it with estrogen, so it will be interesting to see how long it takes to adjust and feel good again. I'll likely improve a little each day for a while. I might add a micro dose of T back in at some point under a doctor's care. I want some feminization but I want it to come on really slow. My soul identity if female but this body has been on male hormones for too long to be really passable. And at 49 that's too much personal reinvention for me. I don't have it in me.
After CaCl injections, my T has stabilized at around 100 ng/dl, which has happily pretty much killed my sex drive. I took estradiol and progesterone for a couple of years and have a nice small pair of female breasts, which I adore. Even those who transition M-F seldom experience a lot of breast growth and they're not readily noticeable, which is also perfect. I have a fairly large frame which helps. The big advantage is that there's no need to wear a bra, which makes touching my nipples a readily available pleasure.
I've been sleeping well and my brain is working far better than when I had more typical T levels. I would have done this years ago had I known how toxic T was.

YourMileageWouldVary. Of my own experience I know that if my T is over 300ng/dl I start to feel horny quite often. Like if I hadn't MB'd for 2-3 days and need to MB every day to stay sane. Over 600 I start to feel constantly horny, having random erections during the day time. But below 50 I start to feel pleasantly sexless, no morning woods, no fantasies, no hornyness, no desire for sexobjects. Even slightly above 50, for example at 70 I start to get morning woods (not every morning though) and some hornyness returns, and I do not feel fully castrated.
The most annoying thing with verylow T is sleeplessness. But with a good and repetitive day and night regimen, physical activity during the day and good diet, I was able to have pretty satsifactory sleep (despite waking up many times during the night) and my brainfog cleared out as well with having plenty of rest. But, lifestyle change is not an easy thing!

It's been played to death, but the adage of "if it's white, don't bite", which came from the Atkins diet thing, holds true.
Damn Paolo,
That's gonna make my life as a gay man rather boring, you killjoy!
And yes, I know your post is nearly a year old at this point.

I went back on estrogen. I take 4mg a week in a subcutaneous injection. I've been on it for about 2.5 months. At this dose level I have a female sex drive level and I can easily get an erection. I like the female version of things and my mind and emotions are much better. I'm pretty much content now unlike with TRT, or nothing at all.
