For the record, I've met guys with no plumbing who just had an open faucet on top instead of a newly installed tap at the bottom.

And to your point LT, I think there is a difference between cutting a pipe and redirecting (rerouting) an old one. Would you say if you poke a hole in a hose you've rerouted the flow? It's certainly ending up in a different place now but I think you've just poked a hole in it and you haven't installed anything to make it functional.

The term 'reroute' makes me think there is a bit more care put into the way its directed and the end result being fully functional. I'd love to have one, before all the rest comes off.

People are just curious about how a reroute works, it's understandable. Medically it's called a urethrostomy and basically your plumbing is changed. I tell people who ask me about it, that urologists split your urethra open below or under your scrotum or perineum, they then fold back the skin and stitch it in place. That's it. You can see pictures of mine on "imagine fap" beth kamolski put them up. Type nullo or nullified in the search bar. https://www.imagefap.com/pictures/10866 ... ls-cut-off

I would say that definition would indicate not change, even for someone how was born with it all, but now has nothing. Because you've not technically rerouted anything from the bladder. So would this mean that the only way to say you've had a reroute is if you can only urinate from a suprapubic catheter?

I see the difference being that with just lopping off the penis, or any of the other list of mods that LT gave, the exit point is no longer the same as 'factory original' so technically a re-route in that the exit is different, but basically the plumbing equivalent of simply chopping the end off a pipe... But the plumbing prior to the cutoff point isn't changed.

I think more properly a reroute seems to imply changing how the pipe runs so that it no longer exits at the place it would have if the pipe was just cut off.... A suprapubic might also be counted as a reroute because you have created a new outlet, and path.

Analogy - most auto exhaust systems have a pipe that goes to the muffler, and then another section of pipe to exit out the back... One could simply cut the pipe off at the muffler outlet, or one could reroute the pipe from the muffler outlet to a set of cool-looking truck stacks....

Rudolph the red-dicked reindeer hand a very shiny :dong:

And any time he used it, you could even say it glowed....

(Couldn't resist... 😄)
