Things will happen, just be patient.

Thank you, I'm doing very good overall and I agree on being patient. I woke up feeling pretty good with no issues to complain about. I did wake up to a big wet spot on my bed sheets but I'm not complaining. Oh and then I left another nice wet spot on a chair that I sat in naked after getting wiped off while I was still waking up, lol. It's like a runny nose that serves as proof that the medication is working. I'll have to take some measures to keep things dry down there until the leaking dries up.

Here's another update, this is day two. As this point I'm getting to know the medication. Androcur is pretty potent and it makes changes in my body pretty quickly. The skin on my face is pretty oily. It hasn't changed much since my late teens. And I suffer from mild but chronic adult acme even at age 48. I also get this yucky oily secretion at the back of both ears and I'm constantly wiping it away especially when I sweat. 2 pills later my skin isn't oily anymore and the yucky secretions behind my ears have stopped cold. This happened about 3 days in during my last trial that I did about 2 years ago. My face feels a lot cleaner and it's going to start clearing up now which is a huge benefit. Androcur definitely does a great job on acme.

The next notable thing to mention is that I'm getting light headed at certain times during the day. It starts a little while after I take my pill and then lasts throughout the day but it comes and goes. It's usually gone by evening and it isn't much of a problem but it did have me seeing stars today after I stood up quickly. The other thing that I noticed is that I'm more tired than normal. It's nothing that I can't push through if I have to but by evening I was really craving a nap. I'm going to make an effort to get more sleep and if I need a nap then I have to take a nap. And lastly, I also noticed a little bit of the dreaded shortness of breath after taking 100 mg earlier today. It lasted a couple of hours and was in sync with my lightheadedness. I felt like I just needed more air, like I couldn't inhale it quick enough and then it passed.

I read in someone's journal here a while back and they mentioned getting vertigo for the first month on Androcur before it went away. And this person toughed it out and made it to the other side, and they were glad that they did. From what I've read a lot of this stuff goes away after a month or two. And there's some side effects that you just have to put up with. Overall, Androcur seems to be rather mild compared to a few other prescriptions that I've been prescribed and I've taken it two times before for short intervals. I'm only going to be on this stuff long enough to get an orchiectomy and in light of that I'm very happy about all of it. I noticed that I got my smile back today because I'm on my way to a body that I'm happier with and that's something to smile about.

Here's a tip for anyone dealing with lightheadedness from Androcur. I noticed that I only felt it during the day for about 6-8 hours after getting up in the morning and taking a 100 mg dose. So last night I took 100 mg before bed that way if I was going to get lightheaded it would happen while I was sleeping. And low and behold, I haven't had a problem with it since I got up this morning. So I think this drug is best taken just before bed.

The only sexual effects so far are a watery ejaculate created by all of this extra pre cum that's been leaking out of me. The leaking has calmed down a little bit. It comes and goes now, instead of being a steady drip like before. At one point I felt it gush out of me and wet my pants. It was definitely a weird thing to deal with.

There's nothing else to mention this early in. The next 2-4 weeks are going to be interesting.

I'm going to set up a blog site this weekend to document my progress. So far the precum leakage has reduced a lot. I'm not gushing anymore like a fountain. Sometimes it's dry and sometimes there's a tiny bit of seepage. I don't need pads or napkins stuffed down my pants anymore which is nice. As long as I take a pill just before bed there's no lightheadedness. I took one last night at 8pm and then stayed up painting trim until almost sunrise and once or twice I experience a moment or two of lightheadedness. If I didn't know what was causing it I wouldn't have even remembered it. The tiredness is also gone, and I feel pretty good. The only complaint that I have is my sleep. I could be the Androcur but it also might not be. It could just be my recent schedule of staying up until 5 am and then getting back up at 11 am two days in a row.

I do have some positive news to report. My sex drive is a bit more relaxed and I'm actually getting some relief from it. I'm still horny but it's not overwhelming me like before. So that's a nice change that I noticed yesterday evening. I'm also not getting repeated spontaneous erections during the last two days which is unusual for me. The nocternal ones are still with me but they aren't as intense and long lasting as before. Normally I would climb into bed and relax and I would fall asleep with an erection. And wake up with one that seemed to last until I got up and out of bed no matter how long I laid there procrastinating. I've only had two morning erections in the last two days and they faded a few minutes after I woke up. My penis is staying smaller than usual since I'm not getting hard off and on all day long. And I almost forgot, I woke up with chills today. I had the AC on and I had the shivers for about an hour after I woke up. That never happens, which makes me think that it's hormonal.

So I think I'm starting to experience some very mild and early effects of my testosterone beginning to fall. Looking back over the last 20 plus years I've done two Depo Provera trials and two very short Androcur trials. And now that I'm older I've noticed that my body is responding a little different than before. The medication seems to be doing what it's supposed to do more efficiently. My mood has been great, even euphoric at times after starting Androcur. In the past when I tried depo and Androcur I had all sorts of mixed emotions and thoughts because it wasn't the right time to do it. And testing out medication without a doctor can be scary and worrisome. And there's a lot of hype about side effects and societal norms that also play on your mind.

I don't have any of that to torture me this time because this isn't a trial run. I'm going from Androcur to surgical castration. I've come to realize that I have gender dysphoria. I've never been fully comfortable being a male but my body wouldn't look good as a female and my life situation is totally wrong to transition. I've got mostly female personality traits but I don't feel totally female either because there's still some male in me. So I'm seeking something in between that feels good. Hopefully we can get the gender thing right in my next life.

Thank youn Snippedandcalm,

Your experience with the potency of androcur is what I also expected.

After a testrun of a month I had to recover for a full year !

It is incredible what a little pill can do.

Take care, mate.

Vesal.
