To Beekeeper

Sorry to hear that, I hope you can get it organised and don't have to wait too long.

Let us all know.

Did you have any shrinkage of the scrotum or did it stay the same?

Thanks for the follow up! That’s too bad about the delay and miscommunication. While very unfortunate about your delay, it is understandable about someone to drive you. It is just very unfortunate that because of a misunderstanding you weren’t able to have the surgery. That must be frustrating to have it postponed. I hope you’ll be able to arrange to have your surgery soon. Any news on a reschedule? Hopefully you’ll be able to have it without any further delay or miscommunications.

I am in a cab on my way to the surgery clinic to have my scrotum removed! I’m excited for this step but also a little nervous about the surgery and recovery after. It is a relatively simple surgery so I’m sure it will go well though. I’ll let you all know how things went and updates on the healing process.

Update time! By this morning it was horribly swollen so I headed to the clinic where the doctor took one look, put me in a day bed in a room and said he would have me in surgery in the afternoon because we had a bleeder forming a bad hematoma.

I am now out of surgery and they are keeping me in observation overnight. They said the found areas that were oozing fluid and a couple that had random bleeds. They cauterized everything so hopefully no more complications.

This highlights the reason for people to go to clinics with professional medical staff as complications can and so happen.

I am being released today but need to come back tomorrow for them to check and keep an eye on things. They seem displeased with the amount of fluid coming into the drain they have attached to me. I am SO MUCH more comfortable now!! The pain is minimal. Yesterday it was horrible as things were stretched and under lots of pressure.

You could try Bromelain for wound care. It helps reduce swelling and inflammation from surgeries. Grape seed extract is another good one. I hope you heal well. :)
