I contributed to BME. But I was told by Glider who was a very personal friend to me to not put any castration pictures up because his wife would not be able to handle them. When Glider was part of BME, castration was considered the ultimate of Body Modifications. I remember the day when Glider, myself and Luvpain were at one of his events and stood together on the second floor watching all the people dance naked on the first floor and we thought that was pretty cool.. Bless Glider, he has been gone a number of years just like Luvpain has been gone a long time too. Two that I will always miss and know they were a big part of my Eunuch life. BME can handle Tattoos and piercing and that is all.
I too contributed to BME years ago. It was a great site until it was taken away from the creator.
Sadly I think it would no longer have a place, today. The way people consume the internet has changed drastically since then. People do not seem to be interested in organized and curated sites like BME, they only want to live in the present moment, relegating what happens today to the dustbin of history by this time, next week.
I hope they never forget how important those sites and before them, fetish magazines, were to the place we find ourselves now in gaining help for who we are and a bit of acceptance. What once you had to wait significant time for and appreciate, is now no more than a few seconds glance and then onto the next thing. Those are the days I miss, where you had to wait and you APPRECIATED what you were able to see, instead of flippantly moving past it after a few seconds, then demanding more.
Someday maybe the now generation will appreciate what we've lost. I miss those days because folks like us were treated like human beings, not something for others to blow their wad to then move onto the next victim of their objectification.
