The day I most dreaded has arrived. I will receive a call from the medical oncologist this afternoon, before I start my first month's supply of Apalutamide tablets, tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.

Good luck ! I hope the medication won t be tough getting into your system at first. You are handling your permanent eunuch status really well ! We all end up losing our manhoods if we live long enough to experience our balls shutting down from old age. Keep us updated on how you are doing.

The loss of strength is the most serious. That, and the loss of endurance that accompanied it. I'm now drawing 45#. Fortunately, the furthest I have to shoot at my advanced age is 45m. Apalutamide is a very gentle but thorough partner to Lupron, but neither impairs judgment.
I'll need all my faculties when we host the 55+ BC Games next year. Archery is a three day event, 3D first day, target second day, and field on the third. The Games are scheduled for the third week of September, 2022. That should give me time to get into competition shape.
