They did ultrasound my kidneys and tested them as a possibility for the pain. I told them I was having pain in my right testicle and groin area at the time. Apart from a little calcification, my kidneys were fine. Dont remember the cost of the visits. Was covered by insurance.

Similarly, I banded for years without any issues. I even banded after I removed one testicle, but then one day while banding and smashing my testicle, it started pulsating like crazy and within a week it shrunk to half it's original size. My testosterone levels plummeted and I knew it had atrophied, in essence, I was now a eunuch even though the atrophied testicle remained. Got horrible black depression unlike anything I had ever experienced. It was uncontrollable and caused by hormone (testosterone) deficiency. I visited my urologist, had an ultrasound on the testicle and she confirmed it wasn't functioning. She started me on a series of HCG shots to see if they would get my testicle functioning again, but they didn't work. So I started using testosterone cream hand mixed at a local apothecary. That stopped the depression and I was fine, but had some weird pain in that testicle and visited Dr. Kimmel in Philly. He removed the testicle making me an official eunuch. After cutting it out and examining it, he told me the testicle did not look good and was concerned that it might be cancerous. It wasn't thankfully. So banding, squishing, and squeezing my testicles for years eventually caused them to fail. I don't know if that will happen to you, testicles are tough, but if you get them so numb that you can't feel them and then damage them, eventually - I believe - one or both will atrophy. Are you ready for that? Are you ready to become a eunuch? Those are the questions you must answer.

Damage to the nerves in the testicles that radiates to the kidneys would not cause any physical damage to the kidneys. They would test and scan normal.

The nerve damage would be at the testicle end of the nerve. It's just the relationship of the gonads to the kidneys during development in the womb that is causing the back pain. If you had told the doctor straight up what you'd done to your balls, they most likely would have done scans of the kidneys and the testicles. Most likely, both would have appeared normal and they would have told you to not band your balls again.

I get it though, it's embarrassing to tell doctors certain things. Hearing from the doctor that they "have heard and seen it all" doesn't help. Just because they've pulled a workman's size flashlight out of a guy's butt doesn't make it easier for the next patient to explain exactly what happened or what they did.

And as my girlfriend was sitting right next to the bed, whilst a Dr and two residents took turns to examine my testicles and verbalize what they were doing and feeling, I just didn't have the courage to blurt out that I sometimes like to put a band used to castrate lambs and kids on my scrotum lol.

Don’t worry, you haven’t been trolled.

I have tried using ice and it did work for me but it’s not ideal. I was hoping someone might say “power through for an hour and the ache subsides”. I’ve never been able to last beyond 45 minutes without ice. If I knew that I would only need to go for a short while longer it would help strengthen my resolve. But if it turns out that it takes 3 hours then it’s a different story...

Hey @Petemates,

Welcome back.

If you goal is to get rid of your balls, the answer is with a surgeon - one that went to medical school, has a license to practice medicine in the country where he does surgery and has a clean safe place.

There are some in the United States and many in other countries.

I know to put on a band and letting it do the job for the hundred bucks it cost you for the elastrator, a pair of scissors and a bag of bands sounds like a great alternative to the thousands it would cost to pay for surgery.

Yet, at the end of the day, you will be much safer and the job will be done right. You deserve safe sane medical care. From your first post, it seems that your sexual identity is either Male to Eunuch or you want your balls gone to get rid of libido. Both are very reasonable goals and can be achieved via surgery.

Banding is great for play and many submissive guys get off on it as a sexual fantasy. It is not a good way to actually become castrated.

I bandaged my testicles several times, it is very difficult to hold more than half an hour, to do so I put ice in a washcloth and I cooled my balls with it, the cold has numbed my testicles and pain dropped, so I could last an hour.
