I don't remember what age I was, but I clearly remember being very distressed when I noticed my testicles. I somehow started associating the wrinkled skin with the comb on a rooster lol! I would take any opportunity to drop my pants and inspect my transformation. I was just reminded of an embarrassing, for me but funny for my family, story of me standing with my shorts and underpants round my ankles sobbing almost hysterically about these things growing between my legs. My mother trying to convince me I had not caught something from the chickens, and all boys had these parts growing between their legs. I still like to tuck and see myself smooth. The brain is a strange and powerful thing.

From what little I have read on the subject it seems the majority of those who actually manage to achieve the desired amputation go on to live quite happily with their choice. But of course the medical / psychological community is always looking to "cure" anything they deem outside the "norm". I think if there were a significant number of voluntary Eunuchs who later regretted amputating their testicles and or penis this forum would be filled with men trying to dissuade others from castration or penectomy.
