I will never judge a woman who leaves a man because he changes his gender identity. While some can cope with adjusting their sexual orientation to match a partner who changes gender, and women seem more flexible in this regard, some cannot. Sexual orientation is deeply ingrained and cannot be fixed with conversion therapy. Sometimes people change and drift apart. I avoid the MGTOW and incel communities, which seem to me to be a toxic cesspool of hate fuelled by bitterness and misogyny. I encourage everyone to examine their own gender expectations and act towards each other with compassion. No one should set themself on fire to keep someone else warm.

And I would also like to point out that cancer is a terrifying prospect for anyone. One of the hardest things about cancer was the reactions of other people. I had to be very careful whom I told. I lost my best client, and it ruined my business, but there was no hiding my unavailability and I had to come clean. While in chemo, I met a young woman being treated for breast cancer whose male partner of three years could not deal with it and dumped her. Imagine yourself in that situation, not knowing if you are going to live or die, and then you are left all alone. Many people cannot deal with their mortality and cannot cope with a partner getting cancer. So in no way is this just a problem with women. In fact, woman tend to be higher in OCEAN agreeability and may be more likely to stick it out. Women excel in self-sacrifice. Cancer is a big deal and some people just cannot cope.

To each his own. Some men and women enjoy being around the opposite sex, and some do not. But this is a forum for everyone to express their own opinions and personal ideas, reactions, likes, and dislikes to stimulate thought and encourage comments and posts from others.

Healing is going well. I still have a scrotum although its empty. I'm quite ok with that.
