Boiling water does not sanitize. Depending on your elevation the hottest boiling water is going to get is 212 degrees Fahrenheit or 100 degrees Celsius. That's not hot enough to sterilize. Autoclaves are used to sterilize medical equipment. To be effective, the autoclave must reach and maintain a temperature of 121° C for at least 30 minutes by using saturated steam under at least 15 psi of pressure.

Cleaning with Isopropanol + Boiling is sterile enough, but, would be better you only use sterile one way needles! There are also really big ones available if you order piercing needles.

Thanks for the replies. The testicle turned out fine although it was very swollen for several days. In any event, we have taken a break from needle play as my wife after further thought doesn’t want to take the chance of infection (nor do I). It’s a fun but risky activity, and hard squeezing is a little less risky.
