Only doctor can speak for himself, and probably case by case basis, I dont know what are his considerations. From personal experience and what others wrote on this forum, Dr. Anthony Joson isnt very picky, some questions and he greenlights operation, no referal letters or anything. But its expected he might have red lines also, after all he is a certified surgeon with 32 years of experience.

Hello dear friends

Because of this thread, I also had my testicles removed by Doctor Anthony Joson at the Renew Medical Clinic in Manila, Philippines.

My surgery was on October 7, 2019.

I am born in 1994 and come from Germany.

I've contacted Doctor Joson by email (anthonyjosonmd@gmail.com), but he's also very knowledgeable about WhatsApp (+63 917 317 4437). That same day, Doctor Joson responded by e-mail. Without problems and without any questions, I got an appointment for the operation in two weeks.

The cost of the surgery was 45000 Philippine Pesos. If you pay with VISA card, Doctor Joson calculates 8% on the price (3600). After the operation you have to take antibiotics for 7 days and painkillers for 5 days. This can be obtained directly from Doctor Joson (cost 1500). For transport in Manila I would also recommend Grab (https://www.grab.com/ph/transport/taxi/). In the normal taxis is often cheated and the driver demands more than actually allowed by law. All in all, I spent three hours in the clinic and I was able to go back to the hotel (without testicles). After the surgery you can not shower for three days.

I feel great now. No sexual desire anymore, the scar on the scrotum is almost healed, I have no pain

and I can do sports as usual.

Fascinating surgery video on Facebook. This Dr controlled the bleeding and kept adding painkillers as he went. Much less blood loss than some vasectomies.

Great that some drs are finally making castration affordable and no more hassle than castrating a pet or livestock.

Congrats Harry 07 !

Looks like you found an excellent dr. Glad to hear you are enjoying being a eunuch and so happy with your results. This is how men should be able to get voluntarily castrated with minimal hassles, low costs, careful surgery, and high quality care.

Hello @lifeisgreat

How many days did you have to stay in Philippines after the surgery ?

You can go home by plane as soon as the surgery is done ?

Can someone, a friend, go with you (hospital) ?

Thanks.

Hello norgefluid

The short answer:

After the surgery, I was only about 8 hours in the Philippines.

Yes, you can fly home right after the operation.

Yes, a friend can accompany you.

The long answer: 😄

I was in the Philippines for a very short time (about 20 hours in total).

I landed in Manila on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 11:30 pm. By taxi I drove from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3. For this trip (5 km) I paid 250 Philippine Pesos. The taxi fare actually cost only 130 PHP, because the government-established taxi prices for the yellow taxis in the Philippines are:

• PHP 70 at flag case, including the first 500 meters

• PHP 4.00 every 300 meters afterwards.

• PHP 4.00 every 2 minutes waiting or standing in traffic.

But often the drivers are not honest and require more money for the trip than prescribed.

In Terminal 3, I spent the night in the Wings Transit Lounge (https://www.sleepinginairports.net/loun ... ge-mnl.htm). For the showers in the lounge I paid 250 Php extra.

At 6:00 am (6.5 hours after I landed), I took a taxi to the Renew Medical Clinic. For the 21 km the taxi took about 1 hour. With the rush hour you can sometimes take 1.5 to 2 hours for this route. For this trip, the taxi driver demanded 1200 Php on the grounds that the Renew Medical Clinic is in a district that is no longer in the usual taxi area. I think the taxi driver was dishonest again.

At 7:00 am I was already at the Renew Medical Clinic. It was still closed because the clinic opens at 8 o'clock. That's why I bought something to eat at one of the many street shops.

At 8:00 am I went to the clinic. After I logged in to the reception, I was called to the office of Doctor Anthony Joson. We talked for 20 minutes. Anthony Joson explained how the operation will work. Then the operating room was prepared. During the operation, I sometimes felt something. Then the doctor has injected anesthesia again. Overall, I was in the operating room for an hour. At 11:30 am I drove back to the airport. A medical assistant of the clinic has found a driver with the Grap-App on her smartphone, who picked me up at the clinic and drove to the airport. The ride was 45 minutes and I paid 586 PhP.

Arriving at the airport, I waited for my flight, which was at 7:10 pm. The next day I landed at 6:55 am in Munich (Germany), took the train to my place of residence and was able to go to the university as usual at 11:00 am, because I am a student.

All in all, from arrival to departure I was only 19 hours and 40 minutes in the Philippines.

Here again the time course in bullet points (times in the respective local time zone):

Wow. Even dr Arnkoff wanted me to stay longer than that, and it's just a drive from Chicago to Detroit! He said he was worried about blood clots with sitting in a car.

Just to add. The same doctor did my castration last March 26, 2018.

I went at the clinic at around 1 pm. I was operated on at around 2 pm and was out of the clinic before 4 pm with my testicles in the jar that I brought with me. :)
