20 minutes for an ambulance? You must live next door to them!
Here, you're lucky if they even show up.
It's not unusual for the 911 dispatcher to call people back and ask for directions, because no one understands the 911 address grid here.
For example, a house numbered 1000 can have a house right next to it, and that house is numbered 1052!

The reason you and your friend bled was the band was not left on long enough to sufficiently constrict the arteries to your testicles. Cutting the scrotum, alone is not going to cause life threatening bleeding. One of our All Blacks, Buck Shelford, had his scrotum ripped open during a rugby game. He famously finished the game with one testicle hanging out of his sack. The scrotum is to protect the testicles. It is very muscular, with many layers. This tissue has to be constricted for a long time, 24-48hours, to sufficiently deprive the blood supply. Longer, to not bleed when cut off. Your friend only succeeded in castrating himself because did actually cut testicles off. Medical help would still be needed, regardless. It is a large wound and will get infected. CaCl injections are another option for castration. Nothing is risk free. My testicles were surgically removed in a hospital and I still had a huge haemotoma, that required further surgery. There is plenty of knowledge and support here in the archive.

Agreed Paolo! Our rural identification system is very sketchy! All our 111 calls go to auckland city despatch. Only 3hrs drive but may as well be another country. The numbering system starts with distance from a main intersection. I.E number 1558 is 15km and 580 meters from highway 33 and 30 junction. But our village, 22km from the junction has odd street numbers starting with R. Eg I'm R7, state highway 30 Lake Rotoma. Try explaining that to an asian in an auckland call center?? lol Oh, Highway 30 is 240km long too;)

I am curious - which community? T
he ones I have seen were either "fantasy mostly" or dead.
It's DKG club. I tried to repeat success of Vadim, he is very popular there. You will find my story in DKG's third group if they will publish it.

I should be happy living in Germany. An ambulace has to be withn 10 Minutes at the place of the emergency. It doesen't matter if it's a city like Berlin or somewhere in the a rural area! Near our Autobahnsystem, they use helicopters to be there in time.

I'm sure there are those out there that think that Russia is the land of peasants, Vodka, Ladas, spies and dash cams. After all New Zealand is the land of cows, sheep, the Hobbit and Peter Jackson?
