I had castradet age 64. It could have been much earlier because I did not know it was possible. I probably would have been ready for it between 30 and 40, maybe even earlier.

I castrated myself late in life but I should have done it much earlier say about 25 for me that would have been right. I might have wanted testosterone then but not now, I love the way i am now

We have some data on this question from the third survey that was run on the EA community. The first article based on the survey has just been submitted for publication, so it may be a while before much of the data is published. Two questions were relevant to this thread:
If you are permanently castrated, at what age were you actually castrated?
If you could have been castrated at a different age, at what age would you have preferred to be castrated?
After removing responses from those who had been involuntarily castrated (prostate and testicular cancer, accidents, etc.), there were 146 who had answered both questions.
If you are permanently castrated, at what age were you actually castrated?
Average age: 47.5
Youngest had been castrated at 18
If you could have been castrated at a different age, at what age would you have preferred to be castrated?
Average age: 25.6
38 would prefer to have been castrated at age 12 or younger (26% of the entire group)
Another 16 would have preferred castration by age 17 (an additional 11%)
37 (25%) would prefer to have been castrated at age 40 or older
What would be very interesting would be for those responding here to give their REASONS for choosing a particular age. We didn't ask that and it would be valuable information.

An interesting subject and one I've thought about quite a lot. I think the reason I might have waited until as late as 30 is because I'm cautious by nature and once you're cut there's no going back. Knowing what I know now though I think would have been quite happy to have been done at 18. I knew from around 15 or 16 that feminization was the right direction for me but wasn't quite sure of the right way to go about it. I also think if I'd had a voluntary castration my transition to eunuch would have been smoother. My tgirl friend was castrated at 22, but would have liked to have been done several years earlier. Her main reason was so she could stop taking T blockers. The next possible step for both of us is nullification. I am waiting to see how estrogen works for me before proceeding further. Justine x

I would think anywhere from 40 upwards (sensible head).
The only reason is there may be medical issues for those on long term hormone therapy and there may be health issues for those who are not.
That said I would have ideally been done in my late teens and would have enjoyed spending my life either as a eunuch or a gelding.
Or flip flopping between the two states.
Knowing my sexuality then I know that I would never want to raise a family.

I underwent involuntary castration at 24 so am not a eunuch by choice, however in a way I'm glad it happened when it did and not a few years later when I would likely have been married. I can't imagine many young women wanting to keep a husband who had lost his testicles.

If you could somehow advertise your eunuch status and benefits to women in a eunuch dating site, you would probably be surprised at how popular and in demand a healthy young gelding like you would be among women not wanting any kids.
Plus, lots of women would really go wild for a young weightlifter with your newly developing submissive personality in bed and as their gelding partner in life.

I would chose as young as possible but I’m trans which kinda throws things off. I guess you would have to separate trans people from those that identify as eunuch. I wish I could have avoided all masculinization if possible. It is really expensive to undo the damage that T does.

If I were single I would have no objection to a relationship with a fit young gelding with a submissive personality. I think you'll find mature women will appreciate you and won't be concerned that you don't have any testicles.
