A female friend told me that she usually feels a bit headachy and nauseous for a day or two after her contraceptive injection (which I think is Depo Provera).

It only lasted about a day for me. If those all the side-effects I’m going to get, it’s gonna be an easy ride.....

Hey - Thanks for keeping us updated. Glad you are logging the changes to both mind an body.

It would be interesting if there were an objective check list to do daily - mental and physical. One must exist somewhere.

I can’t promise to keep a detailed account of changes I notice. I will try though.

I used DP on several occasions a few years ago. It did take a few weeks to have a noticeable effect but it was the best anti-libido agent I've tried. (Androcur seems to be having no effect on me.) Didn't make me weak but meant I was uninterested in the sexual fantasies that usually bugged me a lot. One injection lasted about three months; I'd recommend putting the second in after about a month and keeping them going.

Day 5 on DP

Today I noticed I get fewer spontaneous erections.

I dont think it’s because of the DP.

I used Androcur for 4-5 days, which I had to stop due to complications.

That was two weeks ago, so that may also be kicking in.

Or, it’s all in my head.

Day 9 on DP

Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been busy.

It seems

every day. It seems like DP works relatively fast for me.

I’m thinking of sex less than a week ago.

My testicles seem softer than before.

One negative side effect I’m experiencing right now is sensitive nipples.

That could be the start of gyneacomastea, I hope the Tamoxifen I ordered will arrive soon.

Thanks for the updates! I just ordered Depo myself and hoping it does the trick. My sex drive has been killing my personal life lately. Tired of always thinking about getting laid. Ordered Saturday we shall see what happens. I'm extremely excited to feel the results.

Day 13 on DP

I have just injected my third dose of DP. It geats easier every injection, also less sore after this injection.

As far as I can tell no real changes since my last update.

Maybe my sex drive is a little less.

First of all I want to apologise for the lack in updates.

I have ended my trial due to the side effects.

Allthough the desired effects where great, the side effect forced me to stop the trial.

The worst side effect I experienced was severe Insomnia.

I’ve experienced weeks of no to 1-1.5 hours of sleep. That led to extreme exhaustion and I actually collapsed at work.

Ended up in the hospital, they did a full bloodwork.

They saw a hormonal imbalance, the doctor thought it was due to the lack of sleep. I had to tell her what the real reason was. She concluded that the insomnia was due to the hormonal imbalance or the DP.

She called in a Psychyatrist and I had a chat with him about the reason behind the trial.

He understood the my reasons to do the trial, but also said i should have done it under medical supervision.

I also told him that I was ending my trial. He said he would inform the doctor about that.

I was in hospital for about a week, they gave me meds to help reverse the imbalance ( don’t know what they gave me).

It took three weeks for my sleep pattern to return to ‘normal’.
