I was hoping that maybe that trap wasn t as powerful as it would need to be to kill an animal or prevent an animal from being able to pull its leg free. I don t know anything about traps. But I hope that young guy didn t neuter himself over just a stupid bet or dare.

Even if he isn t immediately emasculated, any damage might make him sterilized or lose his testicle functions or get impotent at some future age. He might lose his testicle functions much younger than if he didn t get his nut cords snapped in that trap. Young guys don t think of that.

besides growing up myself, i'm also a dad of 2 adult sons, boys don't always think about their actions, they're led by their testosterone just like women are led by their estrogen.
