In Christianity, we believe that God desires for all the earth to be populated, and thus he blessed men and women and told them to be fruitful and multiply. God's desire is for people to have sex and reproduce. However, he does make exceptions for some. This is seen in a passage spoken by Jesus in the book of Matthew Chapter 19:
11 But he said to them, Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given. 12 For there are eunuchs who have been so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive this receive it. (Matthew 19:11,12).
In this passage Jesus said that there were basically three types of eunuchs: first, those who were born that way; second, those who were made that way by men (presumably by force); third, those who make themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven.
Before he said this; however, he said "Not everyone can receive this saying, but only those to whom it is given." (vs 11). What this means is that although God desires for all men to have sex and reproduce, He makes exceptions for some (those to whom it is given).
I thank God that I have been given the give of being able to receive the saying. As a result of this passage I made myself a eunuch by paying a doctor to do the procedure. Every time I've seen commentary on this passage, the commenter is never able to accept the saying. Instead, they always say that the third type of eunuch isn't actually a eunuch at all, but is actually just celibate. That is a totally incorrect interpretation in my opinion.

There's got to be other like you. Sexual desires are natural, I don't think this is sinful but rather annoying. Castration is condemned by all religions, so getting castrated for religious reasons makes no sense. Find an other reason !

I am one of those "Born Again" Christians.. So for me, being Gay is a BIG sin. God created male and female. God created Adam and then put Adam to sleep and took a rib from Adam and fashioned it into a female.. God came down to this earth and performed the first marriage ceremony being that between Adam and Eve. Heterosexual relationship are the the only accepted relationships in God's eyes. I knew from early age that I had no interest in females. But every good looking guy who cross my paths drew my attention. Eeekkk. I felt I was doomed to life in Hell. Yes that hot flaming pit of fire and brimstone for eternity. Yet on the other side of me, I saw no change in my orientation. I saw the only solution was castration. I had to do away with that desire to be romantic with another male. I had to end my sexual desires. So 12 years ago I began my journey to becoming a Eunuch.. And I did. Clearly God's will is for all of us, is to be heterosexual. Scripture clearly relates that. Yet all thru history, there have been Eunuch's. Kings left them in charge of the Queen and the children when they went away to war. In God's eyes as related from Scripture, Homosexuality is wrong. For me the only solution was to become a Eunuch. God created them, male and female, Husband and Wife, Scripture is so clear to that.
Most people do not believe there is a God. Most people do not believe that there is a higher being. I choose to, and for me it made it mandatory to become a Eunuch. I am not saying the Homosexuality is wrong either. But I saying, if you are really a "Born Again" christian, you realize that in God's eyes, you to need to be either a heterosexual or a Eunuch. I made my choice.

Most people do not believe there is a God. Most people do not believe that there is a higher being.
Please speak only for yourself. I am a Christian, of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod, and I most certainly Believe in God.
I am curious if becoming a Eunuch after becoming a Christian relieves one of the roles in the Church that are assigned to men.
The bible quite clearly offers salvation to Eunuchs, Isaiah 56:3-5 reads "Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say,
“The Lord will surely exclude me from his people.”
And let no eunuch complain, “I am only a dry tree.”
4 For this is what the Lord says: “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—
5
to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters;
I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever.
So the Bible recognizes the existence of Eunuchs, and Matthew 19:12 seems to call for acceptance of Eunuchs regardless of how they were made so.
Today I don't hear much of those born without. I do hear a lot of surgical victims, who were made into Eunuchs to stave off the cancer of prostrate, the one we should hear more of is the Eunuchs who were made so by Jackass stunts gone horribly wrong.

Hey chilliwill,
No hard feelings. I m too young to be a past hippy. But I do love some of their great ideas on nudity, sex, free love, no embarrassment, and peaceful co existance. Lol sounds pretty hippy dippy huh ?
Since we are all grown adults and overwhelmingly male with a few brave females joining in on here, I didn t feel any need to go into legalistic disclaimers on STDS, AIDS, safe sex, birth control, and all the usual realities of sex that we all know already. Its assumed all adults know those from personal experiences.
I don t know of any sex activities that consenting adults can do in private that would getbthem 30 years in prison in any modern civilized country ? Or that I was advocating any imprisonable offenses lol. I m just advocating good healthy sex to the max ! Nothing wrong with that. George Michaels was a great singer and really handsome too lol . He took getting arrested and splashed in headlines being caught seeking adult and mutually consenting public sex really well and didn t let it get him down. Admirable man in many ways !

I'm not religious, but I do breathe...and well occasionally even have sex...and yes George Michael was awesome....
But.....if sex is about power, and "castrating a rapist or pedophile does nothing to stop the supposed rage and violence",(we have all heard this argument). We have heard that a rapist can still use their hands etc. So I bite, and agree..... Yes sex is about power and control!
So....Why turn society and the legal system against a man who 1) damaged a woman's ego 2) gave her the worst sex of her life 3) Will provide validation and support thorough survivor status? And the lists probably goes on and on. Well I'd say power for women in a society where people are feeling completely alienated and alone. Screaming rape is about power, the power to take back a feeling of helplessness and throw some unsuspecting chump in jail? Do you think someone who makes an assertion of rape, that is motivated by self empowerment, is going to recant?
So what you see as two people enjoying themselves...the other might ultimately perceive as an imbalance of power and accuse you...the nicest guy in the world...of RAPE!!!
OMG and what qualifies as sexual assault in someone's mind now? Are you kidding me!!!! And well you know....people are crazy, I know I'm one of 'em! So take back your power! I mean turn of the power...
Look what happened to people when Trump got elected!!!! They freaked out and couldn't handle life.
So....just be careful....where a condom....get a signed letter of consent...run a background check...look for bottle of medication....and where a go pro...you know there are people in jail who really do need to be there...it is the best place for them...and well you don't!
God Bless this mess....
chilli
Do holidays count as holy days????.....hmm

I ve never been able to understand how anyone can think of sex as sinful.
Whatever higher being or God people believe in, that entity created sex and sexual pleasures and sex drive to perpetuate the species and encourage human and other plant and animal sexual reproduction. And yes, even sin free plants have sperm and eggs. Every human that was ever alive is the product of sex. How is that sinful or wrong . Is all plant and animal sex and reproduction sinful or wrong ? Us humans are basically just horny animals with nearly the same sex organs and reproduction methods as most other animals. We are really not very different or unique from most animals in our sex drives and desires and how we enjoy sex.
I can see how actually acting out sexually criminal desires can be sinful or wrong. But almost all consenting sex is fantastic and very healthy for the people involved. As long as it is legal and consenting adults enjoying any wild sexual activity, you can hardly be sinning or immoral in glorious and healthy sex.
You should double check your religion s official positions on sexual activities and if your actual sexual activities you take part in are considered sinful before you get castrated over it. How do people in your religion reproduce to keep your religion going if they don t have any sex? The Shaker religion died off from practicing celibacy and none are left today because of that. Hardly what God created us sexual and lust filled men to do, to pointlessly go extiinct from not having any sex.
Sex is a giant gift from God to all humans and animals. That s why it feels so incredibly great !
Perfect answer. Why are so many people not able to see this!

You seem determined to make political comments. You may not have been here for quite a while, so perhaps you missed when the EA banned politics on the discussion boards. Too much strife and arguing. So a friendly note to notify you of this before you get into trouble with the powers that be. Please keep your musings here related to legitimate eunuch and castration topics.
