Wonder why he didn't just try to bring himself to an orgasm? For almost all men, after ejaculation, they temporarily lose their erection and can't get it back up for a period of time (how long depends mainly on age/testosterone level). The "refractory" period.

Seems to me like a rather obvious solution to the problem... Certainly a lot less embarrassing than calling emergency services!!

I absolutely agree with you Prudence, but then again, maybe he wanted all those firemen and doctors to see his penis, with him being "forced" to display it like that fully erect.
