Hi, I'm in the UK too and as I get older I hate my sex drive more and more, I detest having those things between my legs and want them gone. I've been in a sexless marriage for a number of years, the last time I had sex must be nearly 10 years ago. Not really sure how to achieve my ultimate goal

You could be quoting me there northeast , my wife got cancer which has rendered her sexless. I'm in the same place you are.

No you're not. I've wondered how many men are sitting around with wives who are now sexless through no fault of their own leaving the men sitting there with libidos that torture them all day everyday but have to just sit there and 'suck it up' as one therapist told me if i want to stay in the relationship.

Yes I feel tortured by my libido and it gets worse and worse as each week passes. I would never be unfaithful to my wife so my only options are either suffering or castration

I know exactly what you mean, my wife suggested i have an affair (now retracted) but i don't want to do that, lies deception, sneaking about ect, I'm 50 and thought I was settled for life. The libido I am left with that she no longer is capable of is the problem. So I'm researching chemical castration, I thought only physical castration was the only option till I came here and that was what I was working up to (no medical support from the nhs who act like you've gone bonkers) but possible this might work so im researching researching researching. Hell isn't it.

Yes pure hell. I've been looking into chemical castration too but don't know how to even start or where to get right drugs. I know the doctor would be a waste of time and self harm is too scary. The hair loss drug finasteride could be an option but its only 1mg and expensive. I'll keep looking

I hope you find an answer, there's an absolute ton of info here about what drugs , doses, side effects, risks and where to get them from. I still haven't taken the plunge yet as I want to really check things out. For me I think I must at least try a test before I go nuts or be unfaithful. Never expected to be here , but people are very kind.
