Thanks for the informations. Indeed it’s a good help for the others to read about the effect and maybe the problems. In all, a regulary health check is necessary. No risks should be given. Maybe a mistake, but older males are less interested to have sexual activities. Let’s hope a fine discussion will start.

I extremely suffered under my hypersexuality. The biggest problem was wanking on every toilet, up to six times per day. Androcur has stopped that totally - neither I want to masturbate anymore nor is it possible in a pleasant way. Trying to masturbate causes a similar effect like milking dry - and that is only painful and will produce a few drops of light clear yellow fluid - not more. I have to say that my chemical castration is absolutely voluntarily.

Does any feminization occur while taking Adrocur?

..if so, light. Male hormones are reduced, so female hormones works more. But really less. If feminization is wished, you must take female hormones..

I was on Depo Provera for two years then Androcur for another two before making it permanent with ethanol injections. Both were very similar in reducing libido close to zero. I switched mainly because my wife sensed me getting anxious towards the end of the month as the testosterone wore off and me dreading getting the injection. After each shot I was fatigued the next day. With Androcure (50mg) daily, there were not the ups and downs, more a steady level. No feminizing except for slight breast growth.

Hi DonnyMac. Sounds like generally you were under medical supervision for much of your journey, but then the ethanol injections kind of thow me. Could you explain, please? BTW, your message box is full so had to post this question instead of just messaging. I had to ask once how to erase messages from the inbox because I could not figure it out, but it can be done.

It was a simple decision. After over four years on chems, my wife was concerned about the long-term effects of these hormones. By then a way of life, no longer a trial. We discussed orchiectomy, but she considered it too extreme. She never wanted to know details. So, I tried ethanol. Was actually very easy. I was and still am monitored for low testosterone.

Any quick changes from injections that caused difficult conversation or pushback from your doctor? Or by that time were you so low that nothing noticed and the only difference was not taking meds any more? Thx.

A N,

There was little change from chem to ethanol castration. Lower testosterone than before. So, things as usual.
