There Was A Case Several Years Ago Here In The Uk An 7 Year Old Boy Who Was Being Treated For Cancer Was Due To Have Chemo Docs Wanted To Castrate Him And Re-attach His Balls Just Before He Reached Puberty

I don't recall reading this story, Caviman001. However, I did chat with a boy online some years ago who had liver cancer. I did some research and verified that he was real, as he was a chat friend of a friend of a friend who turned him onto EA for research.
And before anyone screams, there NOTHING we can do about minors who READ the site. They just can't post.
Much like the singer Javier Medina-Avila, whose testicles were permanently damaged before puberty by chemo, this boy suffered the same fate. He died a coupel of years ago at the age of 15, without ever having any secondary male sexual characteristics form. Poor kid.
The question of castration and later reattachement was one that we discussed, but I have never found anything about it online. It seems that it would make sense, however, but for now, it's much like the "Frozen head" thing that is all of sci-fi.

There are some case studies and medical descriptions of people who worked at liquid gas plants getting parts of their anatomys frozen and then amputated. That's what freezing in liquid nitrogen implies - amputation.

Well,
Theoretically you could remove the testicles and implant them under the skin, hooking them up to the blood supply and preserve them in the body of another person.
Later, they could be removed and re-implanted back into the original owner's body in a second surgery.
I know of no medical reason to do this, however, unless Paolo's story in an earlier post could possibly be a reason. However, taking any organ from a cancer patient and implanting it into the body of a healthy person is inadvisable for obvious reasons. However, it is a medical possiblility.
Heart transplants and kidney transplants are much more technically difficult than this surgery would be. However, something would have to be done to keep the spermatic cord from retracting into the abdominal cavity. Also, you could do the same thing with a penis.
But why?
This brings up more questions than I want to think about now.
