I might be overly paranoid, but given the number of bad actors around on the web, this tripped some of my mental alerts...

I started several communities for men in 2010 but unfortunately, I needed to close them earlier this year is not consistent with the earlier messages saying it was down in 2018....

It said the poster's name was James, but how does one know?

Is there a chance that this is not really an announcement of the return of the site, but instead an effort to collect email addresses of folks interested in the subject?

FWIW, I did a quick search, and at least a couple of the links I found rated them as 'suspect'

A Whois lookup got -

I'm not sure why anyone would bother to bring it back. With the way people consume content online now, the business model of such sites doesn't work. Why would you pay to see stuff when people are freely posting it elsewhere?

Frankly, I'd not bother, and I think it is that particular site owners desire to regain his lost prominence, though I doubt he's trying to steal information as some here suggest.

That's a bit of a bummer if that is true. However, I did know the site owner and his back story. So for now I hope it will return. I don't know of any other "Kink" or Bodymod sites apart from BME and ManMods... I might get told off, but are there any other file share sites around?

It's 2024, I think it would obvious how to seek and and find this type of thing. You'll be hard pressed to find things like this that are subject specific. With as many eunuchs and nullos as there are today, those who wish to share their content often do on commercial sites (think less BME and more Twitter). A commercial site shuts down posting of the content, they simply move to another commercial site.

So if you're really looking, I'd suggest going to those kinds of places. Search engines are also useful, just be creative with your searching.

And on that, we're done. This is a horse that's been flogged into glue on this site.
