Switching planes at Minneapolis

OK. We have different impressions of that airport.

I once reached Clearwater Florida (I forget which airport, Miami/St Pete's I think) and discovered a totally destroyed wheel -- all the spokes broken out and the hub bent. The airline delivered a brand new wheel.

At Greater Pittsburgh (a long time ago, like 1979) my Father MF'd an attendant for good reason.

In O'Hara, I was patted down in the middle of the concourse without screens because they had no screens.

At one airport that shall remain nameless, I had to use the facilities (no. 2) and that takes me about 30 minutes. Guys were banging on the door of the stall begging me to hurry up because the stupid airport had only one men's room per concourse. This was before 9/11, too. It was embarrassing to see that many eyeballs trying to see through the cracks in the door and stall. That was awful.

Airports are the pits of hell for me.
