Thanks a lot for your answers. Well, obviously there is no evidence for the story. If such castrations did happen, they might have been kept as secret as possible, so there can't be found any notice about it. Perhaps some local politicians made their own rules, who knows? Or the whole story is fiction.

I never met the person who told me about that, but the person told about two meetings with the chinese guy and that he really had his complete manhood removed. So I can't really say what's right or wrong.

well, if there had been a significant number of castrations, there should be a lot of eunuchs today and at least some of them would make their story public, sonner or later. So let´s be patient.
