Yes having no sex hormones reduces cancer risks and generally extends your life expectancy by up to ten years.

For the osteoporosis drugs they are just calcium absorption drugs and won't make you horny. So my point is let's say you get castrated and then start developing osteoporosis (you're pretty much guaranteed to actually). Well your doctor and insurance might treat that directly and instead of hrt and give you Fosamax. And even Ralista which is technically hormonal won't make you horny... It just emulates estrogen for bone density purposes.

After all, this one non-castrated man whose body needs testosterone HRT due to reduced testosterone as a result of aging told me that his insurance stopped paying for his HRT in spite of the fact that he had a doctor's prescription for it.

Lose your fear of needles, end of problem. Testosterone cypionate costs about $100 for a 20 week supply. Or put another way, $5 per week.

I'm going to be blunt - Stop being an idiot. Your doctor will figure out a way to get this coded properly to get paid for his work.

If you're that worried about it, keep your balls.

PS, telling your insurance company BEFORE you do it, is inviting your worst fears about their covering HRT to come true. Just don't tell them how you came to be without balls. Easy really.
