I'm guessing it would be simpler to get a plastic surgeon to do it though. At that point it's just loose skin and you're not asking them to remove the testicles. Some might balk, but I'd think it's a fair bit easier to get an empty scrotum removed voluntarily than a penis.

Yes, or so I thought. I found every listed plastic surgeon in my city and asked. Nobody wanted anything to do with elective surgery there. Facelifts, anything, but not there. So I went just a little out of town and found someone who does these things and will be visiting early next month for consultation. Hopefully to get done in January.

I've had the same issue, definitely have done a lot of calling and checking around locally. Lots of misadventures. One plastic surgeon agreed to take a look and then admitted he had not even done a urology rotation, and couldn't understand why I wouldn't want implants. Local urologist who lists as one of his professional interests gender reassignment surgeries never got back to me.

Reached out to a few Docs who do the gender reassignment stuff, I felt like they would be up on the issue. I called one of the highly visible places (one of the few places where I could find some healed pictures of a scrotectomy) and the Doc there wants two mental health letters. I appreciate that he wanted to provide good quality care but he said he didn't want me to find myself in a sexual encounter later in my life where I would be ostracized for having no scrotum. I'm not going to pursue him any further.

My REALLY great clinician has gone out of their way to work their network of surgeons and I think I've found a local urologist, but have a consult in a few weeks. We will see.

I will keep my empty nutsack because of the tactile stimulation I get castrated 29Dec2015. My sack is very furry so hope it will be a nice beaver pelt when corduroy scrunched up. Kirk

I have been recently researching getting my empty scrotum finally removed.I have called as many cosmetic surgeons as I can find in the UK. Most wont do the job but those who will seem to want in excess of 6000 Gbp. to do it!I was hoping to spend less than 2K so its on hold for the time. Any one have any cheaper contacts in the UK?

I think you should be able to get this done in a clinic in Mexico and still have change from the six grand you were quoted,

There is a Transgender clinic in Tijuana http://mexicotransgendercenter.com/ that may be able to help.

UK is pretty useless for this kind of work.

I had my scrotum removed last year and boy what a difference it made in comfort. As a bonus the area where the sack and balls used to be (still looking for a name for that region) is sensitive and erogenous. After you have it done remember to really take it easy for at least a month so it will heal properly.

I think calling it the steer space or gelding zone would be understandable and make sense to most people

Yes, we need a name for that region. Supertaint? Anteperineum?
