Raul Bender, I'm a bit surprised none of the EA veterans have suggested that you try chemical castration before surgical castration. Assuming you're a normal 50 year old you are still plenty virile and could experience changes you may not expect or like. There are reversible pharmaceutical methods you could try. Surgery is a one way street. There are others on EA who are knowledgeable about these drugs. I hope some of them offer you some advise. There has also been plenty of information already posted. The first place I would look is the Chemical Castration forum.

Hi nrvgag44...i am living since i can think in a wrong body. I feel since i can remember that i am an Eunuch. So i had a lot of years to be sure that i want to get rid of my Balls. So no chemical castrtion is needed. I took my decision and now going for it.

Did you gain weight? Did your body went feminin?

Lots of questions!

It's only been a few months since my orchiectomy, and so far the most noticeable change I've noticed is the hot flashes. I knew to expect them, but they have been far more numerous and persistent than I ever imagined they would be, sometimes coming hourly.

The next most noticeable change has been a marked reduction in endurance exercises such as running and such. After my orchiectomy I waited about two weeks before going back to the gym, and when I did, I could barely run 200 meters. Since then I have increased that so that I can run a half mile unbroken, albeit at a slower pace than pre-castration.

Regarding strength, I have a feeling that my strength has also taken a hit, but I actually hit a PR in my dead lift recently.

Finally, I think I may have gained weight because it looks like my waist is slightly larger, and I can't do as many pull ups as I could pre-castration. I don't know if I actually have gained weight because I got rid of my scale about a year ago.

These are all the ususal indications from being castrated and not taking TRT.

I am glad to see that there are some info inputs on this subject. But I would like to add my two cents worth. Five months ago I had my prostate removed because of Cancer. And yes I still have my testicles and that they are still attached, But when they remove the prostate, They cut all tubes that are attached to the testicles. and after two months after the surgery,my T level dropped from 240 to 189, and I started having hot flashes, and nipples became very sore. Zero erections, plus the shrinkage of the penis and testicles. There is zero discharge at orgasm. I know this is a subject that most people do not like to talk about. BUT it happens to many man.

Yes I am not castrated, but ALMOST. With the testicles not attached, only to the blood supply,:and the penis, now is good only for a pee tube. I am wondering what other men have to add about this subject.:)

One thing that I noticed following my inguinal orchiectomy is that my mons pubis became and stayed completely flat. Is this a normal result from this surgery or is it just my observation alone? Have others experienced this too?

Fifteen years have elapsed since castration - no significant body effects except the empty crotch! However, I've been on testosterone replacement. I may have had to watch my weight a bit more, but I think that's more the result of aging or heart medicines. I've gone from 155#s at castration to a little under 140#s and feel good.
