Goserelin and similar drugs are used chiefly on men with metastatic prostate cancer which are testosterone-dependent. They inhibit LH which stimulates the production of testosterone. If you are on this, you will both be impotent and have no libido; with provera, you will have less libido in general (and crucially less interest in sexual fantasies) but if you decide "I want sex" and stimulate yourself, you will be able to do it.

If you take goserelin long enough the impotence may become permanent. You can get some info on this aspect from websites about cancer, although they are aimed at men who would regard the loss of sex drive and potency as an undesirable side effect. There have been some accounts on here of men who have used it for castration, though.

I got another depo shot on Friday. Felt libidio came back, it was time for the next shot.

But since yesterday I have some side effects, much stronger than last time. I feel lethargic, and a little bit depressiv. Anybody there who have faced this side effect so far? I faced this effects with the last shot too, but on a much lower level.

Just wondering If I should take another shot, or do something else against this side effects.

It seems to be that you need to take a couple of days off before the next shot.Fortunately I never felt depresive on depo, maybe a little lethargic. Are you taking another med?
