There are many classics that were black and white, it was and sill is a great way to tell a story, I would hate to see some of those old classics have color added, they would loose something special. When they take an old film that was b/w and add color, when you watch it the color looks like it was added, it does not look right.

to me when they do that its like when someone paints their house to look like the Simpsons house. Its just wrong.

A slight deviation: I saw Ex Machina yesterday.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0470752/
I really liked it. It's not a movie one has to see on the big screen, but it's worth seeing. Some twists and turns that caught me off guard.
It beat the hell out of The Avengers Age of Ultron, and I liked the preceding one. This one bored me. I almost walked out on it.

I haven't seen either of those movies yet. No chance this week, This Sunday and the next are symphony Sundays. Thursday I have tickets to Othello. Tuesday is election day. Wednesday the maids come and clean. In between I think I collapse.
I was fascinated by the graphic novel of EX MACHINA and I want to see what the movie is all about.
I never expected anything but fluffy and cute from AVENGERS: Age of ULTRON -- It's like IRON MAN I, II, III that they pushed too far and I expected the same for ULTRON.
There's what - - nine movies in the MARVEL world so far? THOR (2), Captain America (2), The Hulk (1), Iron Man (3), Avengers (2) and (as odd as it seems) Guardians of the Galaxy are all entangled.
How long will the audience for these movies stay loyal and want to see more?

I was thinking about bad movies.
A number of decades ago, horror flicks could get great box office and good reputations if they found a lady with long hair, large bosoms, willing to scream her lungs out (that was as important as her tits) and wear a diaphanous nightgown in a dark castle.
That was it. Put her in peril and have the hero save her and no one cared.
It was always moonlight and foggy and there had to be something dreadful, ugly, misshapen, hideous, repulsive and desiring a mate living in the basement or in a dark tower. Lightening and thunder optional. Seacoast optiona
That was the formula.

I could not watch even the first one, looked like to much ..... well anyway I do remember one of the dirty harry movies where the chic kept shooting her victims in the groin before killing them. Revenge for rape...
Glad to see you post,

I won't get the chance until next week because of the way things are scheduled but I will watch that.

Since when do you have to watch something to diss it?

I'm in the process of final edits for an anthology of my stories and at 70,000 words, I can only think of it.
