I am officially a eunuch, and will continue on HRT! Thank you all for your support. I hope to upload some pictures soon.

Cheers!

I come from a transhumanist perspective - the right to choose your body is a profound thing, and if you've found a way to get what you're after, more power to ya. I hope you like how they come out. (Heh, poor word choice?) Given that I'm considering a similar radical, would you mind counting days until you're comfortable and off painkillers, even if you're not completely back up to speed? That's about the last question I still don't have an answer to.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm only 3 days out, still swollen and sore, and putting an ice bag on it periodically. I will report to you a little further down the line. If your doc can do a radical by using the single incision method, I highly recommend it.

Thanks buddy! I told you I was committed to being a eunuch, and here I am! I'm happy with what I've accomplished, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the fellowship of my eunuch friends! :)

For what it's worth... icing now isn't doing any good other than a placebo effect. That's really only good the first 24 hours or so. After that the body just has to take it's natural course.

You are absolutely right. I'm 7 days out and I'm still bruised, swollen, and sore. Putting ice on it doesn't seem to do anything. I guess it'll just take time for the body to reabsorb fluids and stop the inflammatory response. I was concerned about the swelling the other day because I was afraid I might be bleeding into my scrotum, or may be getting septic, so I went to the ER. The doc ordered a US and a CT Scan to see if there was any bleeding or other leakage. I'm still having some major soreness, so he upped my pain meds to Percoset and told me to follow up with my urologist. That was an expensive romp, but I wanted to play it safe. I saw my late wife nearly die from sepsis, so I wasn't going to take any chances. I follow up with my urologist on May 29.

I am 3 weeks out since my surgery and the swelling is 90% gone. I was off pain killers after 2 doses and did not see my pens for a week due to swelling. Good luck with being a eunuch.

Congrats Cb2000user! I am two weeks out from my orchiectomy, and my swelling is negligible, however, I do have what I'd call a "hardened" spot on my scrotum, primarily on the Left side, in front of the implant. The doc says it's internal bruising of the Dartos muscle, and it will eventually dissipate. I am getting wrinkles on the sides of my scrotum, so it is getting back to normal. I haven't taken pain killers for about a week, so any residual pain is mostly soreness to the touch. I began my daily walks again today, and did a 2 mile wearing a jockstrap for support. I did fine. I'm anxious for my scrotum to return to it's normal state, so I can see my new Large implants hanging low between my legs!

thanks for the update! I think you're the first person I recall discussing having implants here, so it'll be interesting to see the results once everything settles down.
