Can't log in, can't register. Help!
Re: Can't log in, can't register. Help!
There is no user "zipper" in the database. How long since you signed in on these boards? On day 366 of not doing so, VB will auto-delete you.

Re: Can't log in, can't register. Help!
I have always used Zipper for my author's name on stories, but logged in as Zipoid67 until last year, then Zipoid68. I tried to re-register and am told that an email will has been sent with which I can complete the registration, but that email never comes.

Re: Can't log in, can't register. Help!
is it possible to disactivate the function that cancels our account or usermame ?
so for not to be disactivated we need to just connect once a year or publish a message ?
where is the forum of presentation?
I found out that if we do not connect or if we do not have a live-account we cannot see all the forums

When signing in, instead of clicking on the stories, select Forums, Check in, and leave if you wish. We will not deactivate the process of deleting inactive people. Don't sign
a year then you are inactive and subject to being deleted. Yes you do need to be a registered member to see all of the archive.
Re: Can't log in, can't register. Help!
The reason for this is simple:
We get a LOT of sign-ups, and many of them are one-time people coming to look out of curiosity. Over time, the database grows to unmanageable proportions. One year of inactivity is plenty long enough for the auto-purge to take them out.
As for the story archive, it shares the VB database of users for log-ins.
That's just how it is, and how it's going to stay.
