What happened to family?

RIGHT ON! RIVER! "What happened to family?" We spent Thanksgiving with the family of one son's wife several states away. 22 happy folks of all ages in all. Christmas was spent with the family of our other son's wife, an 8 hour drive away. 16 happy folks of all ages there.

We're fortunate to be part of both families and wouldn't trade family for anything. I wish all families were like ours and genuinely feel sorry for those who can't enjoy their families. That being said I'll never allow myself to feel bad about it any more than feeling guilty about some of the moderate successes we've had in life. We certainly don't feel "victimized" or blame others for events that didn't go so well.

(I guess I hi-jacked it too but wanted to respond.)
